About me...
Welcome—I'm glad you're here.
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (licensed in WA & OR) with a Ph.D. from Regent University. I’m also a Latina immigrant from Central America and fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
I specialize in complex trauma and attachment, helping individuals and families find hope and healing. As a war and trauma survivor myself, I bring both professional expertise and lived empathy into the therapy space. Over the years, I’ve supported children, families, and adults from diverse backgrounds in both clinical and private settings, walking alongside them through life’s challenges and transitions.
In our work together, I draw from EMDR, IFS, CBT, and attachment-focused approaches—always at a pace that feels safe for you. I am also an approved Circle of Security Parenting facilitator, offering this program in both English and Spanish. You can learn more about it here: https://www.circleofsecurityinternational.com/resources-for-parents/
For clients who desire it, I offer the option of integrating faith into therapy—combining evidence-based practices with spiritual resources that can bring comfort, meaning, and resilience to the healing process.
If you’ve ever hesitated to seek therapy because of fear of stigma or being labeled, please know this: seeking help does not mean you are “crazy.” It means you are courageous. Reaching out can be the first step toward a new beginning—and when you’re ready, I’m here to walk with you.
